The Theme for Marinas 2011 is New Horizons.
Every two years the Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA) conduct an internationally significant marinas conference and exhibition. Each time the event grows in participation numbers and international stature. Despite the GFC Marinas 2009 attracted over 400 participants with 20% of attendees from countries outside Australia.

The agenda and networking opportunities continue to build with a range of interesting topics. The session on Working with Government - the good and the bad will
include the hot topic of marina lease's and the ensuring discussions will be important for the marina industry. The field trip of inner Melbourne marinas will include
site inspections of d'Albora Pier 35 Marina (with a dry stack facility) and the impressive Sandringham Yacht Club.
